Camera:

On the rear of the Nothing Phone 2a, two cameras are positioned side by side. The primary camera boasts a 50MP sensor with an f/1.88 aperture, stabilization, and rapid focus capabilities. Adjacent to it is a 50MP ultra-wide camera offering a broad 114-degree field of view. On the front, a 32MP camera is available for selfies and video calls.

From my initial use of the Nothing Phone 2a, the camera performance doesn’t particularly stand out; the images are fairly standard, lacking any notable excellence. Nothing phones typically feature average cameras, and this model appears to follow suit. It may be advisable to await our comprehensive review for a more detailed evaluation. If camera quality is a priority for you when purchasing a phone, you might want to consider the Google Pixel 7a as an alternative.

Despite the absence of a radio, it includes a USB Type-C 2.0 port with OTG capability. The phone stands out with its under-display optical fingerprint sensor and a suite of sensors including an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

The Nothing Phone 2a supports a wide range of networks, including GSM, HSPA, LTE, and 5G, ensuring comprehensive global connectivity across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G bands, with both SA and NSA options for 5G. It promises efficient data transfer with speeds across HSPA, LTE-A, and 5G.
